Maybe strigger is what you want: it is capable of executing a script/binary when certain events occur, like job successful completion or failure.

We tried to placed the line at the end of the job script: saact -j <jobid> --format=JobID,JobName,Partition,MaxRSS,AveRSS,MaxRSSNode,ReqMem but it doesn't display the stats, only zeros for the various fields.
