Slurm currently only supports direct IPMI information gathering on the
compute nodes, but a new plugin could be used to gather information
from CMC. That's a good example of how Slurm's plugin architecture
provides a great deal of flexiblity.
Quoting Dan Pou <[email protected]>:
If it is possible to route the IPMI commands out to the CMC, that has a
chance. Direct IPMI access isn't supported currently, to my knowledge.
If you can contact SGI support, they may be able to help you get power
monitoring options.

Does anyone that has a SGI UVx000 been able to get the Energy
accounting info?
If so, any pointers would be greatly appreciated. IPMI times out on
our UV2000
(which isn't a surprise) and I'm stumped as to where to go from here...
