Hi Alfonso, That's a neat idea and I can understand your use case. Perhaps you could use the EnforceUsageThreshold flag in co inaction with the UsageThreshold and UsageFactor settings. You'll have to play with this a bit but the idea would be to allocate some nodes in a separate partition mapped to this one QOS and if somebody's fair share is low (e.g. They haven't used the system in a while) then their fair share will be high enough to allow them to use this QOS. Setting a high UsageFactor would/should drop them down below the threshold after their job runs. You may want to restrict the QOS to a smallish time limit. As Moe suggested, you could use a job submit plugin to automatically route the job to this QOS if the users fairshare is above the desired threshold and the jobs requested resources could actually run in this QOS.
