We are considering compiling openmpi with "--with-pmi=/opt/slurm" to enable running mpi jobs with srun.
If we do this, will we have to recompile openmpi and/or programs built with openmpi when we upgrade slurm? (If so, only for major upgrades, or for minor upgrades as well?) -- Regards, Bjørn-Helge Mevik, dr. scient, Department for Research Computing, University of Oslo
