Thank you for your reply. I have specified the path explicitly when installing slurm via ./configure --prefix=/opt/extlib/slurm/14.11.7/openmpi/1.8.1/gcc/4.9.0/ like I always do with all my other libraries. I was not aware I needed to create the slurm.conf file. Could you explain how to create it or where to read?
