Does it give an error? Those parameters will be passed through, I can confirm that with: [samuel@barcoo ~]$ srun /bin/echo database username password srun: job 4515879 queued and waiting for resources srun: job 4515879 has been allocated resources database username password You should check that you can connect to your database server from the compute node of course, but that's really outside the scope of Slurm.
