ELK is great for detecting and troubleshooting issues for admins and can be leveraged for a lot of other stuff than just queue monitoring. On the other hand, XDMoD is superior for doing reporting and exploratory statistical analysis of trends for both end users and admins. There is overlap in the capabilities but neither can do the job that the other does really well. O-P
