We are using slurm 15.08.7, and one of the new features wanted by users was the reduction in emails by collapsing email alerts (start, finish, etc) into a single email for the array as a whole rather than for every job in the array.
Now, of course, we have a use whose work flow expects the old behavior. Reading through the doc I see no way to retrieve this behavior for a user.
