Look at the bottom of the page. If you follow the instructions you should be fine. Though I would recommend pausing the scheduler by suspending all the jobs and setting all the partitions to down. This helps with keeping the database in lock step as jobs won't be exiting or launching while you are upgrading the database.

You can do it live though, but you may end up with a few jobs in the database that are inconsistent. The rest is very smooth and works well. Just note that once you do a major upgrade like this there is no rolling back due to the database and job structure changes.
