Hello list, we have a cluster with an IB tree topology and two different blocking factors (1:2 and 1:8). I would like to find the best way to make SLURM aware of those blocking factors.
I know I could just create separate partitions for different blocking factors and use that for scheduling, but is there a way to do that using topology.conf and scheduling hints like --switches and --hint? As always, thanks a lot for any advice!
