Yes I used rpmbuild and it's work fine. Only for my information :)
But for slurmd is necesary for example slurm-sql too. (I think is the
slurmdbd service)

If you require any special options during build, this is preferable to

I'm still puzzled why slurm.spec reinvents the wheel with the entire
slurm_with(out)_opt macros instead of using the venerable bcond_with
