Thanks for confirming the (for me) puzzling state of affairs. Since I
need to append info about the resources the job acutally used, it has
to be at the end …

Is there a specific reason that this feature is not implemented in
Slurm? Were there patches that got rejected? It has been asked before …
is there a strategic decision about having the output of the job
prolog/epilog not ending up in the log files? What's the reasoning?

I might have to start hacking on this myself in the Slurm sources, but
would like to know if any outcome of this would be considered for
inclusion.
