Good morning, I have received complaints from a user that, although he has set "--mail-type=ALL", he would not receive job notification emails. By default, "--mail-user" is set to the username, but apparently without a domain part. The sendmail running on the machine refuses to accept mails without a domain part - which seems to be the culprit of the issue.
Now a possible workaround would be to have everyone set "--mail-user=`whoami`@localhost" (and teach new users to add this option) but a more general solution would be to have a config setting or a default "@localhost". This is Slurm 2015.08.8.
