Unless, that is, it is a known problem, in which case it has probably been fixed in a later version. In addition, it now says the following on the Slurm download page: Due to a security vulnerability (CVE-2016-10030), all versions of Slurm prior to 15.08.13 or 16.05.8 are no longer available. So you need to do an update anyway. And as the intermediate versions are now no longer available, you basically just need to set up Slurm again from scratch.
