OK, we have put our Infiniband topology into the topology.conf. With
this and the option e.g. --switches=1@1:00:00 we try to minimize the
fragmentation of the cluster and place the jobs on neighbours (wrt. IB).

"Message aggregation" means that the slurmd communicate with each other,
aggretating status information and forwarding this to the slurmctld (or
back).

For this, I would like to use other hosts, e.g. outside the topology.
