Hello, I already increased the parameters in slurm.conf file. So there are enough already completed jobs visible.
But users want to decide, which jobs are visible and which ones not. For example, one failed jobs, the users knows the fail-reason and decides there is no reason to see this job longer in any queue (no matter which command: squeue or sacct). The next job, the user does not know, why the job is failed, so he wants the job to stay visible for debugging. That’s the reason for my question.
