PURPOSE OF THE JOB
�To aid in the development of the organisations portfolio of global mobile in order to produce leading edge mobile technologies.�

KEY REQUIREMENTS / RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Minimum of one years development and testing experience, both on individual and team based development projects,developing mobile applications (either J2ME or Symbian)
- Ability to develop by adopting an Open Source and Open Standards methodology
- Ability to code from given API�s using rapid application development models
- Ability to understand and address integration issues between third party applications
- Ability to understand and address integration issues between third party applications
- Development, documentation of test plans and code and adaptation of a structured approach to testing
- Research and Development of new dynamic software solutions (mobile environment)
KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS
Minimum one years experience (as many of the following):

1. Excellent understanding and experience of Java / J2ME together with experience in working with MIDP
2. Exposure or development experience with Symbian Operating System
3. Use of Nokia Developers Suite (or similar tool)
4. Understanding of XML with view to data exchange
5. Overview of Wireless Access Protocols, WML (WAP)
6. Programming experience with MySQL or any other database connectivity using Java
