Hi John, All 802.11b compatible wireless devices can go up to 11Mbps only and this is specification is based on IEEE standard. This speed indicates the Ethernet LAN speed at 10Mps/half duplex and Orinoco AP also should run under this speed(10Mbps). Probably the router speed set to 100Mbps or auto. Using APPO can connect up to 128 users simultaneously, but recommended is 30-40 clients which will maximize the throughput.
