I dunno anything about the Dlinks, but most of their stuff tries to act as a router/nat box.
Make sure the WAN interface is using DHCP to get it's IP Address, or static if you assign that way. You'll probably need to setup the DHCP server on it to allow it to give IP's to the customer's PC. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Scott Whalen Sent: Friday, June 06, 2003 7:11 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]@[EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [smartBridges] Internal Mac Autorization help I ran into some issues last night. This is my set-up for a new customer (1st time that I've done this with internal auth. turned on) I'm using a DWL-810+ D-link bridge. I have the MAC of the bridge added to the table and it shows up in the client list with good signal strength. However, I can't get it to pass a IP to the client system. Do I need to add the client system's MAC from his ethernet card?
