Please check, Is there any simpleNMs running?
This is due to simplemonitor.exe is process is
still running on that machine. Please use the Task Manager again, select “processes” TAB and look for
the
simplemonitor.exe or any related snmp programs
running and kill the process(End process).
If still the error occurs again, please
let me know.

Thats the point. I did the task manager and NO other
progran is running so I cant stop simplemon cause it aint running. Now what ?

program doesn’t close properly.
1. Use Task manager to END the process of simplemonitor.exe
and run the simplemonitor again.
(Task manager – process –
simplemonitor- select End process)
2. Check if any other application is using SNMP port
161/162. Close any such application if running.

I get an error message that another instance of
simplemonitor is running when I try to launch simplemonitor (newest
6-4-03). No other software is running. Any clue ?
