Tushar, RSSI value is the Received Signal Strength Indicator. This is the power level of the signal indicated in dBm and the %. These values are very close to the approximate to the actual values. The values are read from one of the register in device receive circuit. We recommend that, you must establish a link with minimum of 70% RSSI (around -60 ~ 65dBm) Link Quality is the essential the indicator of "How good is the Signal to Noise Ratio". We also recommend to keep it at 70% while establishing the link. Currently, the RSSI seems to stay on at 100% and we are trying to have a better algorithm to indicate more accurate values.

Hi, We have been installing Airbridge Outdoor and Airbridge Total for some time. At every install we check the RSSI and link quality we try to keep above 60%. Few days back I was looking at the associated client at on the access point. Access Point also has RSSI and link quality number. Some of the number on link quality are quit low, and it does not match the what we see on the airbridge Outdoor or Airbridge Total. So the question, 1) Looking at the associated client information on the Airpoint Pro Outdoor, the RSSI and Link quality number are accurate? Should we care for theses numbers too?
