That's what I was wondering.  I think I understand the differences.  I
"may" just anti up the money (that I don't have) and do what I KNOW
works.  I was hoping I could save a couple hundred bucks per link and
make the ABO Total work.

the aB's does MAC NAT. a aPPO in client bridge mode does not. Which
means the clients ethernet ports mac address will get to the other end
not the MAC of the sB unit.

sB "fixed" this in latest firmware. So if you don't want the MAC NAT
then you have to use the old firmware and loose remote management. No
matter how you do it sB got you cornered. If you need the clients MAC
address on the other side then pony up the money and use a aP in
client brige.. Winner smartBridges.. They show no interested in fixing
this. But hey who can blame them they make more money selling the more
expensive unit (only difference between a aB and a aP is software and
enclosure..)
