I tried an
APPO in client bridge mode at 23 miles over open ocean. It was at 1,500’ on a
mountainside, and was connected to an APPO access point at 1,200’. I
consistently had 1-2Mbps throughput and <20ms latency. I did it as a demo,
so it was only up for a couple of days. Seemed to work very well, and I’d
expect the ABO to work similarly. I don’t remember RSSI and link quality #’s. I can’t
remember what antenna I used, but I think it was a 19dbi. I’ll ask the guy that
helped me and get back to you if he remembers. Jason -----Original
Message----- Is
anyone out there using ABO units in a link over 18 miles? If so,
I'd like to converse with ya. How's
it perform, and how stable is the throughput? Thanks NEOFAST.NET
