Well I see what you mean, the nat routing Is true DHCP could be left out if your just looking to get pppoe implemented as a client option, but isn't the SB's doing nat routing ANYWAY for the multimac ability? Then again as I said this was a thrown up idea wasn't sure of the practicality of it. The pppoe stack can't be that hard to implement but then again I haven't worked that intensely with it before. At current I don't want to see this feature or any features added until I can get a guarantee that the next firmware will correct the freezing bug in the Airbridges.

Are you asking for a "wireless broadband router"?
It makes no sense for a bridge device to act as a PPPoE client. For
this to make sense, the airBridge has to do NAT/routing (and
perferably also act as DHCP server for client pcs).
As for practicality - you need to have a TCP/IP stack capable of
routing (the IP stack currently on the device probably only supports
acting as a client device - no routing support). You need a NAT
implementation. You need a DHCP server. You need to implement a PPP/
PPPoE stack.
True - it would kick *ss, but it would require an entirely different
firmware that has to be developed and tested (if it is even possible
within the memory and CPU limits of the hardware) instead of just
adding a single feature to the current firmware.
