As you mention TCP filtering I have a question for SB, Is Port Filtering (discard/or forward) possible on current hardware? I mean there are certain list of things I just don't want on my network (primarily netbios) my network admin is bitching that he can't block the ports and is trying to convince finance to buy cisco because of that and the vlans (the vlans I told him I doubted but god knows with some hope the simpletraps will have it) but for the discarding of port packets is this a possible upgrade would really appreciate the chances on this.

I don't know if this matters, but does the AP that it associated to have TCP
filtering turned on?

Subject: [smartBridges] Can't ping ABO
I've got a customer with an AB Outdoor unit that I cannot ping. The unit
is working fine; they can get out to the net and I can ping their
firewall but I can't ping (or get SNMP data from) the ABO. I _can_ see
the unit on the SimpleMonitor and login to it fine. The IP is correct,
the gateway is correct. Any ideas?
