So, I thought we weren't allowed to push more than 36Dbi from an intentional radiator in the US. What does your system look like :-)

you might be yelling in your clients ear. If you have a packet sizeing issue also.
Go for the RTS settings and threshhold settings.

just a thought

Subject: [smartBridges] Only getting 300K from Ranchos Access Point

Hey guys......here's a good one for you.

I have 10 clients on our "Ranchos" Access Point (APPO, .5 Watt amp, 90 degree, 14db sector). Clients are getting less than 400K download speeds. Clients are between 1/2 mile and 10 miles away. All are connected with signal strengths and link qualities in the high 80's and 90's. The backhaul is an APPO (in CB mode) approx. 3 miles to the POP (T-1). Signal strength and link quality on the backhaul is in the 90's and only varies by 5% or so.

Any ideas as to why clients aren't getting higher speeds (should be around 1 megabit)?

Regards,
