Make sure the "zero wireless network config" service or something is stopped
and disabled... That service likes to take everything over....

but if you tried to config your card and then shut down the service..
chances are you've locked up some of your subsystem. so you'll have to
probably reboot...

Subject: [smartBridges] Windows XP Pro and AirCarte

I know this has been asked before but at this time the archives are down.
I have just upgraded to Windows XP and now my aircarte is completely
unreliable. I have removed the check from "allow windows to manage
wireless connections and I have tried 1.3 and 1.2 software. It will show a
connection of excellent and a second later "no connection". Is there a fix
for this?
This card was working fine while I had win2k installed but apparantly
there are issues with XP pro and sB Aircarte.
Thanks!
Lewis
