>From what I've been hearing it's supposed to help with line-of-sight issues,
frequency
coordination among competitors in the same area, provide higher bandwidth,
and at
least equal distance to 802.11b. I'm looking very much forward to testing
out some of
this gear when someone starts manufacturing it. Our biggest hold up right
now is the
80-120 foot tall fir trees that are literally EVERYWHERE in this area.
