Title: RE: [smartBridges] airBrigeSUPER??

Technically if it's a PtP link I believe the limit is 46 so this would be allowed by FCC as long as there is a strict notice when this setting is used that the link MUST BE PtP or would violate FCC (if the unit is set to FCC)

Tim
I asked the same question yesterday and was told this would put it over the
FCC power limit
sB says do not go over 30dB, others say it is 36 dB
17dB for the airBridge and 18dB for the antenna = 35?????????????

Hey, sB...

How about an all-in-one with a 19dB antenna? You could call it the
airBridgeSUPER ..or airBridgeTOTAL PLUS (although if something is total
[complete], you don't need to add [plus] anything to it, so maybe the PLUS
isn't a good idea).

We LOVE the airTOTALs and have to use an airBridgeOutdoor->19dB for longer
links. I'd love to use an all-in-one unit for these links (and NO, I won't
be using YDI's EtherAnt ..or whatever they call them. Used one. Didn't
like it)

Thanks for the tech update. Looking forward to applying the firmware fix!
