Hmm I would check that ABO's RTNC cable that's in the box it sounds like its loose or has condensation in it, check yours and the one that's in the box itself, As for the APPO that sounds like the ATMEL bug that is being fixed in a few days as per the sb email yesterday but im not positive. When did u buy it? In that time frame? Don't get discouraged dude, I'm faithful with the Sb's and I am not moving just the pure fact that they respond and work with us on this level to get problems resolved on a 1 to 1 level is worth it, I even turned down a full cisco upgrade on my AP's because I am going to start standardizing and I don't want to switch again, also because I hate cisco but anywayssssss.

Ok, here's one more for the "wtf" book...
Had to realign a parabolic antenna after a 60+ mph wind hit it direct on..
while I was out there I was looking at the AP's.. one of them has been
giving me fits for a little while (lock ups, etc)
So I looked at the switch.. no link light. I look at the APP ethernet
light... it's dark... Power is on, rf light is blinking. Two other APP
AP's are working just fine on the same switch.
So I figure the APP is locked up or something... I press in the reset
button on the back... nothing... press it in again and hold it for a good
two min making sure it's reset, then I unplug/plug/unplug/plug a few times
on the power.. The ethernet light on the APP comes on. The link light on
the switch is not on.. I can't ping it's default address like it should be.
I use a crossover block into my laptop, nothing at all..
Anyone else have a problem like this? Where the AP's Ethernet light is on,
but the switch/hub/whatever say's it not on? I tested the cable (pair
check/TDR check/full freq scan check/atenuation check) and it tested just
fine...
I've really got to RMA some AP's and AB's... I have a large box of them
now... But I've been too busy replaceing them. One customer was going to
quit, and probably would have caused a lot of other customers to quit.
LUCKLY he was sitting right in the middle of a backhaul shot with Trango
equipment I have going to a few other POP's. I stuck up a SU and had him on
in a few seconds.... His ABO could see three diffrent AP's (turnning the
ant in diffrent directions) I managed to get his ABO to associate to one of
them after messing with it.. and I was getting almost 70% packet loss to the
AP. The POP's tower is 190 foot up, his tower is 70 foot up... distance
between the two is almost 1 mile... can't get a better LOS than that
unless you hold the two units togeather... (from APPO->ABO -17 rssi/LQ of
93%: from ABO->APPO -31 rssi/LQ of 2% to 70%) :(
Last year I loved the SB equipment... but geeeeezzzzz... right now I'm
smacking my head on a wall... and it's REALLY starting to hurt..
