Michael, you got to be pulling my leg. Or you have stumbled upon a great technology to increase the security. May be compete with the Retina scan to replace the simple passwords J

Try different characters and different number in the password.

Sensitivity like how fast you type in the password? Or the time in between each letter of the password is typed in?

I did try once by logging in during the AP mode and then changing the password, rebooting and then changing the OP mode, but it still wouldn't let me in using the default password.

It's got me puzzled. Maybe I'll trying to type in the passwords at the same speed as I first entered them.

I am just throwing out a suggestion. Try to use a different password. I had overheard some discussion in the hallway about some kind of pattern sensitivity. I wonder if this is related.

Password should not change. Try changing password then change the operation mode. Joe

Am I missing something? Is there a different password once you change the operational mode?

I have a brand new APPro Outdoor (sb2510) which I can get into using the default pw. However, once I change the Op mode from AP to any of the other modes, the default pw doesn't work anymore and I can't figure out what pw to use. The only way I can get back into it is to reset it and when it comes back up in AP mode, I can again use the default pw.

TIA

Michael
