We've been using MikroTik too. Love the stuff.

It does have a bit of a learning curve for the Firewall rules,
but the rest is not very hard. Just be sure when you go to buy
that license that you have the software installed on a good
reliable hard drive. The software license anchors itself to the
hard drive it's installed on, so if you want to you can just
move the hard drive to a new system and it's ready to go. If the
hard drive dies you have to get a replacement license from MikroTik
for your new hard drive. Not a real pain at all, just something
to think about when you select the hard drive you are going to use
on your router.
