Thanks for that – I neally bought the wrong one tonight. Most UK adapters have the positive in the centre – it was only on closer inspection of the Powershot that I noticed Positive on the outside – I’ll have to keep looking tomorrow.

Hi Rob Cleminson,
An 18 V DC plug is an ideal and sufficient plug however you have to make sure that the polarity of the plug should as specified in the website. http://www.smartbridges.com/new/products/ps.php
Few customers are using Motorola Canopy Powershot which is 24V and it is same pin as sB. Also you can use the following powersupply, however you need to change the Pin polarity as stated in the specification. Brand: Mouser Model: 552-PSA-31U-180 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
To help you procure the correct power supply adapter, the specification of the power adapter is :-
Thank you

Hi,
I just purchased my first Airpoint Pro Outdoor – Powered it up fine on my desk.
Just got down from installing on my tower – I have 100Metres of CAT5 and now no power is arriving at the unit?
Is this because I am using the standard 12V AC Adapter and because of the extra cable length now need 15V. There is a note in the booklet suggesting that this is best but I am not sure if it is a MUST
Any advice?
Regards
Rob Cleminson
