Chris,

I understand. The cross over switch provides good convenience factor but for our manufacturing guys it is just a minor change. So they just rolled it in.

The “Dynamic power PoE” has actually gone through some major tweaking in the product definition. It will be available as an accessory. Now it is called “PoE Outdoor” . It is 802.3af compliant 48V and includes the lightning protection to facilitate building code compliant installations.

Just wait for a few more days for the official announcement.

Nish aren't you guys making things kinda a stretched out upgrade process I mean,

Basic Powershot -> Powershot with a lil cross switch -> Powershot with dynamic power

Why wasn't the cross over just delayed till the final powershot is done or is the dynamic one going to be a "extra accessory"

A few weeks ago this was made a standard feature on the powerShots. Eventually all units will have it. Right now it may be a hit/miss as the inventory goes out from channel partners.

To go into a switch or hub.

Why would you need a crossover with an airBridge.  Yes...with the
airPoints...but not with the airBridges...you can plug them directly
into a PC without crossover.

Do powershots come with all the sB gear now, including the indoor

Those of you that order from Ecomm, are you getting them with your

indoor

devices?  I was thinking of ordering a couple indoor airBridges for a
project I'm working on and would really like to get the powershots too.

I received 2 indoor AB a couple of weeks ago from EC and they included
the
powershots.  They didn't have the xover switch though.
