“A note from the CEO”

Dear Friends,

The past few weeks have been remarkable. We have had to deal with product issues related to disassociation of connectivity. Thankfully, all the early warning check points did their job and raised the flags. We were able to contain most of the problem in-house by stopping the shipments. Through the close interaction and help from our user group, we were able to develop solutions to quickly stamp out the “frequent dis-association” issue from various fronts.

Unfortunately some faulty products did get out in the field and cause problems for some customers. We sincerely apologize to all who have been thus inconvenienced. We would like to thank all our customers for their patience and support in helping us work through these issues. We are overwhelmed with the encouraging words showered on us even during these difficult times.

This has been a major learning experience for our company. We have used these forces to make us better. The obvious questions running through our minds are – How do we prevent this in the future? What do we learn from this experience and how can we apply the knowledge to further improve our products and services. This is where I am excited to note that my team has made significant improvements in our business processes to deliver robust quality products. These improvements range end-to-end: product design, component sourcing, manufacturing, aging and final QA tests. I am confident that you will see dramatic reductions in the field failure rates. I am confident you will see better availability of our products and I am confident you will see us doing a better job of handling the RMAs. And we are not done. This is a continuous improvement process for us.

Now with this high priority interrupt behind us, we are back on track to release the exciting new products from our roadmap. Stay tuned …

With warm regards,

Nimesh Parikh

CEO

New Wave decided to go wireless with  smartBridges products for their network because of the reliable, powerful and cost effective solution.

“Broadband Inc, Guyana – a WISP with a vision!”

Broadband, Inc is a Wireless ISP based out of Georgetown, Guyana in South America. Broadband , Inc has multiple pops, currently 20 pops in number. They provide wireless broadband service to large and small business, government, education and residential customers.

Broadband, Inc controls more than 50% of the  WISP Market in Guyana, competing with the traditional, established 50-year old DSL  service. The minimal availability of the physical wire for last mile connectivity makes wireless the best choice for taking broadband Internet to the customers. In a country where the cost makes a huge difference, Broadband, Inc has found the best performance and cost benefits in smartBridges equipment.
