Oh...forgot one thing. During the 5 minute period of the aPPo's working...I was watching the statistics and noticed that the unit's kept rebooting. The statistics would keep going back to zero. Then it just died.
What the heck is going on?!?!? First thing I did was upgrade the firmware like the STICKER says on the box. Then burned in my settings with simpleDeploy. All went well. I replaced it and it worked like a champ--all clients reassociated! Woohooo!! Five minutes later clients started dropping off and the Ethernet side died! I did a power reset and it came back up but only a few clients associated back up with it. So...I waited a couple minutes and the Ethernet side died again. I reflashed it...I lowered the firmware...I reflashed it...I upgraded the firmware...I replaced the powershot twice...I did EVERYTHING! The Ethernet side would keep crashing. In case it matters to anyone...it was only 70 degrees here today. So...I put my old unit back up (after only 3 hours of MY LABOR WAISTED) and it worked fine. My old unit periodically crashes..and that is why I am RMAing it. Yesterday...I received my stock (and spares) from Electro-Comm. I started the process ALL OVER AGAIN...with the exact same results (3 more hours waisted). The Ethernet side DIED after 5 minutes. I am once again back on my old aPPo...I have a bunch of pissed off customers....and I am VERY pissed myself. I am soooo sick of spending hours upon hours replacing bad equipment. sB...can you please send me 2 aPPo's from Singapore...that you have actually verified work for longer than 5 minutes?!?!
