That
sounds like an ideal install. I can't think of any problems unless a sidelobe of
one of your sectors is close to the same strength as the main lobe of the
antenna next to it. This is unlikley though. Send a link to some pics so we can
see it.

Guys, I have a
simple question/idea that I would like some feedback
on. I have a
WiPOP with three airPoint APs and they are on channel 1 5 and 11. I have the
ESSID on all three AP’s set the same, ie all set to GLE-WiPOP. The three radios are all connected to
sector antenna which do have overlap and they look down
over a valley about 10km wide. I am
assuming that in “Roaming Mode” ie BSSID set to 000000000000 the clients
(airBridge outdoors and airBridge Totals) will associate with which ever of the
three AP’s gives them the best RSSI and LQ. Is this correct?? And if so how do
the radios work out which AP is best to associate
with? Some of
the big advantages I see for this design are redundancy and ease of
install. If this is
an acceptable design, can you give me your thoughts on what issues may arise or
are there problems that it may inherently have that I do not
realize. I look
forward to your replies. Thanks Regards, Luke
