Collocating on the same tower with HAM radio, cellular, or pager equipment
that operates in a frequency that is close to, or is a harmonic of the 2.4GHz
band. I think someone mentioned on another list that some part of 900-923MHz
can interfere with 2.4GHz.
 
A bandpass filter will filter out ALL other frequencies except for the
one that you want. The Teletronics (and others for this application) allows
2400-2483Mhz and effectively blocks all other frequencies.

The Linksys might have bad sideband suppression and/or perhaps he is

using a noisy amp. Hard to tell without proper testing equipment,

though.

 

Dave, is it possible to change the polarity on your link?
