Either install one of the website applications (allow for download
speed tests only). If you want a ptp speed tests that can do upload
and download (choice of udp and tcp) then grab the MikroTik win32
application (can be ran as a server or client and can talk with
another win32 client or a MikroTik routeros client/server).

DC> That's why we specify in our policies that any speed test to be done is

DC> only valid if it is to OUR speedtest on OUR website. We can't control the

DC> bandwidth between us and 2Wire, or DSLReports, or whoever they want

DC> to test from this week. So we state it up front. The internet is a
DC> volatile mesh

DC> of comingled networks that are owned by a myriad of companies that have

DC> loyalties to no one. We guarantee your speed and connectivity to our
DC> network

DC> and that's it. Nobody out there will give you anything better. If they do,
DC> take it.

DC> Offer them this choice...

DC> - Cheap

DC> - Fast

DC> - Reliable

DC> Pick two.

DC> Of course a phone call at 6AM every day would drive me to the

DC> point where I would say FINE. Drive out there, test the bandwidth

DC> show them that they are getting AWESOME speed, then hand them

DC> a bill for $65 for the truck roll.

DC> Then enjoy sleeping in..

DC> a single timeout in 4 days and have 2mbit to the office all the time
DC> (sometimes spiking to 5mbit) and they are still insisting on calling at 6 am
DC> to wine that some Indian site isn't loading properly ? I MEAN JESUS DO I
