Actually, now that you mention it, I've been having a problem
with HotSpot on the MikroTik router.
 
The client can "usually" get to the login page just fine, but I have
to turn ARP on for the HotSpot interface for that to happen, even
though the docs say to set it up reply-only.
 
Once the user enters their login info and it starts the countdown
page while the client gets their new IP address, nothing happens.
It hits the end of the countdown and the client hasn't picked up the
new address. IF during the countdown I type ipconfig /renew at
a command prompt it will give an error message, but it will then pick
up the new IP and everything is fine. It's like, whatever they are using
to force the client to renew the address isn't kicking off.
