I see the following behavior constantly in a Cisco BR340 AP log from an aBT running the latest firmware:

I assume the console connection attempts are SNMP boroadcasts, but I wonder why the unit keeps re-connecting. The customer indicates that performance is a little flaky at times.

We have already implemented in our new firmware release 0.01.07 which auto sense the AP every 6 minutes interval.

Before the above firmware release, we have developed our own software utility to reset the device in case of no traffic pass thru for a certain interval of time.

We have tested this software in our in-house as well as the few customer sites, considerably we found better improvements in the network.

If you are already using a new firmware on the aB, there is no need of this software.
