Already downloaded and tried that…no luck.  I just did it all over again, even deleting the airnic.inf and .sys files from HDD first.  Still no luck.  The icon shows in systray for a moment and then is gone, airmonitor is running though.

Please download the latest airNIC - airMonitor 1.20 from the following link.

http://www.smartbridges.com/new/support/an.php

The same installation procedure applies to the airNIC also.

1.       Uninstall and disconnect the airNIC from the USB port

2.       Reboot the PC

3.       Install the software and it will prompt you to connect the airNIC to the USB port

4.       Connect it and finish the installation.

If you connect the airNIC before the software installation, the airMonitor will not work properly.

Please follow the above guidelines and update us the status.

Thank you

Sorry for the lack of details.  OS is Win2k, and the adapter is airNic.

Are you using WINXP or windows 2000?

If you are using winXP, in the wireless nework connection – properties- wireless networks – Clear the mark or uncheck – Use windows to configure my wireless network settings.

If still unable to load airmonitor, please disconnect the aircarte and uninstall the aiMonitor.

Then do not insert the aircarte into your PCMCIA slot, install the software and it will automatically prompt you to insert the card.

Now insert aircarte and accept the default driver (continue anyway). If the OS is winXP, select the winXP driver from the winxP folder(downloaded with this folder)

Please let us know if you need any further details.

Does anyone else have a problem with the airmonitor app not displaying.

When the computer boots up I see the airmonitor icon in the system tray then

it quickly disappears.  When I try to run airmonitor from the programs menu,

I get an hourglass for a fraction of a second and then nothing.  Any help

would be greatly appreciated.
