But it still depends on how heavy or light
the rain is. The literal "downpour"
type that you guys get down south would
have a significant impact on the
signal, but the typically light rain we
get up here doesn't do much.
In fact, when it rains here our signal
seems to improve. My theory on that
is the rain removes the dust and pollution
particulates from the air giving a
cleaner path. (just a theory
though...)
We've seen snow and fog too. No
disruptions in service...

Somewhere there was a program to do link stats that
let you induce stuff in the fresnel zone and/or rain. Rain only
attenuated the signal .1 DB per MILE. So, the effect of rain at 2.4
ghz is negligible.
