Well that found very little I cant figure it out anyone else have any other ideas. Reloading window is not an option, to much stuff on my PC that I cant reload or find the software for any longer..

I am afraid it is system registry time hopefully that fixes it, it has been progressively getting worse this past week then today wham nothing..

Yes thats what mine USED to do now it has NO icon and there is no processes running yet it still claims it is running I tried deleting simple NMS just now and same thing nothing...

does this all the time for me!  I tend to go to task manager and delete the process (not the task, which as you say is not there).  The give-away is the small icon still showing at the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

Anyone ever have a problem lately with simple monitor saying it cant open because an instance is already open pleas try again?? I did ctrl alt del several times I Don't show an open copy anywhere I have deleted simple mon 20 times in the last hour and reloaded and still says the same thing I rebooted to so no wise cracks HELP!
