PoE Outdoor™ combines advanced features for device protection and diagnosis to bring unmatched convenience in outdoor wireless network deployment. With UL compliance, Ethernet port protection and NEC compliant surge protection, the PoE Outdoor™ is a class above other available PoE products. Learn more about the road ahead...   New Partnerships “smartBridges appoints new distribution partner in the U.K to improve product availability” smartBridges has recently appointed Westwood Associates, U.K as a distribution partner.  Formed in 1987, Westwood Associates is a �10 million turnover company which provides total wireless connectivity for various businesses.  This relationship aims to provide increased presence and product availability in the wireless marketspace in the U.K and Ireland.  Technical knowledge and support, logistics and financial stability are some of the key aspects we look at while selecting our channel partners.  The partnership marks yet another milestone in a series of steps taken by smartBridges to improve the reach and quality of service to our customers. Read more...   Announcements   “smartBridges' strengthens focus on outdoor applications” The last few months have seen smartBridges shipments of outdoor wireless products surge at an unprecedented rate.� smartBridges continues to lead the way in outdoor wireless applications, with recent new products and proposed future solutions. In line with these developments, we are rationalizing our product line to be in tune with what our customers want.� This will entail increased emphasis on outdoor and carrier-class products.  Consequently, two of our indoor products, the airPoint PRO and the airNIC will be phased out, as the organization moves to cater to demands of the outdoor wireless networks.    Reaching Out - Partner Development   “smartBridges' Partner Development Initiative continues across the globe” In the most recent series of partner development sessions held in July, three of our US distributors availed of this comprehensive technical training. smartBridges' technical team visited our partner HQs to conduct these one-day events for each partner. Members from our distributors' Sales, Customer Support and Marketing teams participated in these training sessions.   Our technical experts provided an overview of the wireless market and discussed various issues on evolving technologies. Extensive Product Training was part of the agenda and the participants were taken through configuration and troubleshooting of smartBridges devices. The smartBridges product roadmap was a topic of keen interest as our team talked about future innovative solutions that were in various stages of development. One of the highlights of these events was the highly appreciated “hands on session” with  smartBridges products.  The strong positive feedback from these sessions has spurred a number of initiatives on the support front. smartBridges will soon initiate weekly conference calls between the smartBridges Support Team and distributors' support team to ensure even higher levels of service to end customers. We are also working with our distributors to setup TEST LABs to replicate product issues/problems to provide prompt resolution. These efforts are in line with smartBridges' objectives to have quick and improved responses to customer queries, provide updates to partners on latest developments and knowledge sharing.  We will feature details of future visits planned by our technical team in this newsletter in advance, so that more partners can benefit from this program.
