Subject: Re: [smartBridges] what is pinging from airbridge?

Its your computer not sure why it is there does not help me in any way other then I am able to ping from the PC thats connected to the AB or if I am at home remote managing I can log into the radio but it still shows ping from my home PC not from with in the radio like I thought I was heheh. Would be nice it if pinged from within the radio you are logged into, but that might be asking to much I just want reliability other then features like those.

If you can already do a ping from your PC why add another ping tool in the radio???

SB tech support,
When you go to tools in Simplemonitor, what is performing the ping, the ABO or the computer it is attached to?  I know when you perform a traceroute it resolves the DNS name and there are no DNS settings in the ABO so it cannot be performing the lookup.  Can you clarify this for me?
