Towards the end of last month I installed a client Total. Yesterday the customer said that the unit stopped working. So I went for a look.
1. The radio is connected to it's access point
2. The radio can ping the access point and one half of the bridge going back towards the gateway.
3. The other half of the bridge seems to stop certain radios from passing traffic, while everyone else seems to work just fine.
4. All radios have the latest firmware upgrades.
So why does a APPO (bridge mode) out of the blue just stop allowing a traffic from a particular radio?
client --> <-- APPO Access Point --> APPO Bridge << ----- >> (stops here) APPO Bridge --> [switch] Alvarion Bridge << ----- >> Alvarion Bridge --> [switch] GATEWAY---
It now appears that after I reset the APPO Bridge, that I can now see the client radio from the NOC. I have another APPO in bridge mode elsewhere on my network which also does not allow certain radios to pass through.
Any ideas anyone???
