Well...I think it's best to stick with a switch. If the client has multiple computers online, I don't want their internal collisions affecting their opinion of my network.
Not sure if I can resell those units, being that they are refurb'd. Guess I could just so long as I state that fact. The Netgear is 10BASE-T with a good old fashioned THICK-NET BNC on the back.
