Yeppers . . . I ran Cat 5 from the outside phone box to my detached building and they hooked up both ends as part of the service.  One end to the box and the other end had the smart jack.  I had already run the cable between the buildings so they just hooked up the pair on both ends.  This was with Sprint.

Typically when they bring a T1 to you they set up an NIU

(Network Interface Unit) that just has an RJ45 jack on it.

If all they gave you was 2 pair hanging out in the wind

then they aren't done yet.

Does anyone know how to wire a T1 circuit?  Verizon just brought a T1 to my remote location and just installed the circuit and left me to bring it into the building.  I think I know what to do but I wanted to ask the experts here first.  I really don't think the $150 per hour will work for me since it would take them atl east 3hrs.
