It's a matter of packet size. During those times
someone was sending a whole bunch of little packets.
Typically those are from gamers.

I understand the Ethernet chart is in Bytes and the Wireless chart is in packets as this has been mentioned a couple of times on the forum.  I don't believe it is possible to obtain Bytes for the Wireless interface.
 
There should still be some relationship between the number of bytes transferred on the Ethernet and the number of packets processed by the Wireless side. Please compare the two charts above the "10" on the left side of the chart.  The Ethernet chart indicates little of no traffic and the Wireless side shows a great deal of traffic. What's up with this?
